Tree Series by South Korean Photographer Myoung Ho Lee. At first glance, I thought this was an installation that involved life-sized images of trees printed onto fabric, then rephotographed in a similar environment, however it is actually a photographic series where the photographer has suspended white sheets of fabric behind living trees in order to detach them from their original surroundings, creating a focal point.
So simple, yet so clever- and I think the last illuminated image is particularly beautiful.
