So Japan was a treat! Saw lots, ate lots, enjoyed some beautiful snow festivals (in Otaru & Sapporo) and hit the slopes in Furano. It is still very much an eclectic mix of trendy and traditional- which is why I love it, and I was able to put some of my limited speaking skills to good use. We also spotted some Sumo's while we were in Tokyo which was kakkoii (very cool)!
